The journey for us started like you now, looking for a system to help manage the receiving and distribution of products. Searching on Google, talking with colleagues and friends, even as far as talking with 3rd party distributors. We found that each system we looked at would be solid in some area’s, but lacking in others.

And so, with a half century of supply chain and IT experiance combined, we decided to create our own warehouse management system.

A couple guys having spent decades each managing warehouses and distribution facilities in different states and countries and IT departments for multi million dollar companies, frustrated with the cost and lack of functionality, started the difficult task of building what is now Sync WMS.

Why?

When looking for the right partner, this is what we found:

  1. If they were great, they were expensive, very expensive
  2. If they were inexpensive, they had limited functionality
  3. It would have most functions we needed, but others would need to be developed
  4. They were well known in the industry, but didn’t have the greatest reputation in service

With all the frustration, we basically created a wish list of functions that we couldn’t get, in addition to the standard functionality, and built it from the ground up. Since 2014, our customers have been shipping millions of units locally and internationally in wholesale, retail and eCommerce.
